She cited her adherence to Islam as the reason for her decision.

In a long post on social media, Sahar Afsha explained her decision to quit the entertainment industry and follow Islam.
She explained in her post that she did not feel content in the fame and money she received in the film industry.
Sahar Afsha also said she would rather dedicate her time and energy to practicing her religion
